Investment Strengths & Strategy

Key Investment Strengths

The Key Investment Strengths for Consolidated Vending plc (CV) are as follows:
  • Diversified revenue streams and long-term contracts with large, prominent clients;
  • CV is a leading operator of both photo booth and kiddie rides in the UK;
  • Operates circa 1,000 vending machines via two business divisions;
  • Operates in a growing market, worth in excess of £3 billion;
  • The Group is cash-generative and offers sustainable cash flow and earnings, whilst low overheads can produce attractive profit margins;
  • Earnings are underpinned by contracts with prominent clients, including national supermarkets and other retailers;
  • Acquisitions are being identified that will optimise the use of the Group's current national infrastructure and that are expected to increase the Group's growth;
  • An experienced management team;
  • The Group has tax losses of circa £2 million pounds available for future relief against profits of the same trade;
  • CV is EIS Qualifying.

Growth Strategy

It is the Directors' expectation that growth will come from three areas:
  • Organic growth through further placement of photo booths and kiddie rides;
  • Acquisition of vending businesses in similar sectors, possibly regional operators who have no aspirations to go national, or single product operators at risk from larger multi-product operators;
  • Introduction of new vending products developed by third parties who require CV's access to customers and national engineering team to establish the product in the market.
